LaSeal 976 Waterproof Anti-mildew MS Polymer Sealant

MS976 is a one-component, high modulus, neutral, room temperature curing modified silane sealant with 20 class displacement capacity. It has excellent anti-microbial and mildew-proofing performance. It is safe and environmentally friendly with low VOC, and non-toxicity. And it is characterized as good weatherproof, with no corrosion, and has good surface painting feasibility.

MS976 is widely used on anti-microbial and mildew-proofing indoor decoration glazing, especially in kitchens and bathrooms, with good adhesion to tile, glass, metal, stone, and concrete.

    Limitations

    ● Avoid operating below +5 °C and above +35 °C.
    ● Do not apply on curing silicones.
    ● Minimum depth for working joint is 6 mm.
    ● Maximum expansion and contraction should not exceed 25% of average joint width.

    Surface Preparation

    ● The recommended cleaning process and materials are as follows.
    ● Glass Degrease with alcohol or MEK
    ● Aluminium, light alloys and stainless steel Degrease with alcohol or MEK
    ● Other Metals Lightly abrade then degrease as above
    ● Wood Lightly abrade surface then remove dust
    ● Plastics Degrease using an agent recommended by plastics manufacturer
    ● Concrete and other alkaline Surfaces Brush and remove dust

    Instruction

    1.The cartridge tips are trimmed and a plastic cap is fitted before application.
    2.The cap's tip is attached to the cartridge gun by cutting it to match the surface's breadth.
    3.One edge of the sausage package is sliced, and it is attached to the appropriate gun. After that, the gun's cylinder is attached to the cap nut.
    4.During the application, all of the joints should be filled at once and without any spaces.
    5.The LaSeal Universal surface that has been applied to the joints needs to be smoothed out right away using a moistened spatula, glazing tool, joint iron, or by hand.
    6.After using it, the sticky tape needs to be taken off.
    7.As soon as the packets are opened, they should be eaten.
    8.The contaminated areas and used tools should be cleaned with white spirit or alcohol. It is cleaned only mechanically after cured.
    9.Joint width/depth ratio should be 2:1.

    Storage and shelf life

    1.They should be protected from water, frost and adverse air conditions.
    2.They should be kept dry and cool on wooden pallets at between +5 degree C and +25 degree C in moisture free conditions.
    3.The opened products should be consumed immediately.
    4.Shelf life is maximum 12 months conditional to complying with the aforementioned storage conditions.
